International Tourist Guide Day Celebrates with Free Walking Heritage Trails

As part of this year’s, International Tourist Guide Day, the Society of Tourist Guides will conduct three heritage walk tours free for the public. Interested individuals can look forward to know more about Singapore via these three trails:
(1) Roman Catholicism in Singapore
(2) Fame, Faith and Fortune in Waterloo Street
(3) Hainan Kopi Tales
The trails will start at 10.30am and will last for about 45 minutes. Each trail will be conducted at

International Tourist Guide Day (ITGD) is an initiative of World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA) and is officially held on 21 February annually to commemorate the contributions of the professional tourist guide globally.
Registration opens on 21 February 2009 from 10am to 3.30pm at The Plaza, Level 1, National Library Building.
